Best Soul Food in Maryland

Alright I went here after trying the express location in Ownings. The MAC was still OFFICIAL and I love that. The honey cinnamon they put on the cornbread was so delicious. They also have a liquor store in the back with a focus on black owned brands.

This location is very nice.! VERY VERY nice!! The food is good. The Service is excellent!!! The Jerk Chicken is fall off the bone!!! Their Collard Greens…flavorful and spicy; not hot sauce needed!!!

By far the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time! The atmosphere alone was absolutely breathtaking—the attention to detail, the décor, and the cleanliness were top-tier. Not to mention, our waiter A.J. was amazing! She knew the menu inside and out, never hovered, but always made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. The food was delicious, and I already can’t wait to come back and try something new. Overall, 100000/10 🔥 Highly recommend!

I’m a huge fan of Carolina Kitchen ever since I was pregnant with my youngest daughter (she’s 19 now) so when I heard about the new in Bowie MD, I had to check it out. The establishment is simply beautiful, the staff are very attentive and the food is amazing. We had the oxtails and fried chops with their award winning collard greens and mac n cheese. The portions were so large we had doggy bags and ate well again the next day! I can’t wait to go back and try the new, exciting seafood dishes…

Joined a friend here for a birthday day and was instantly impressed with the decor and ambiance. They offer a line buffet with a variety of food choices until their full menu opens at 5p for dinner. The bar was beautiful and I love that they offer a range of black owned spirits and wines including one of my favorites, Arthur Wheeler.
